Review

This series continues with it’s spine tingling ghost encounters and Mattie’s growth in skills, friendship and now a whole new family. This wasn’t my favourite in the series so far, however a lot of this book was more self discovering, and officer Dan has his own hidden skills to show off.

Mattie has a lot to deal with, a new family, two guys who have feelings for her and now a new ghost/demon that only she can defeat. What else can a teenager have thrown at them before they fall into the dark.
The series is always followed by plot twists, each character is experiencing something new and then BANG a whole new scenario is thrown at them.

Silas, the demon who keeps popping up reveals more secrets about Mattie’s past, pushing her further and further into the darkness, yet helping her discover herself. More confusing than EVER to Mattie.

Overall the flow of the book is always very good and there is always a good amount of progression, which is great because the story line does not become stagnant. Apryl Baker is forever evolving in her skills as a writer in this series and I cannot wait to discover more about each character.
